Quiet Moments: Contemporary Poetic Photography

Slip of the Tongue
Slip of the Tongue, David Bate 2008.

Curated by Susan Hill, this exhibition showcases the works of some of the best European, British and Australian photographers. Poetic photography - strange scenes, peculiar figures and random objects from everyday life - offers a contrast to the plethora of advertising and stock images that saturate today’s media. They are rich in colour, meaning and metaphor, and invite viewers to project their own day dreams into the scenes.
