A quiet town in Sefton currently has the highest Covid-19 rate in the borough.
One part of Formby has the highest covid rates across Sefton from the seven days to 23 December, with much higher cases than the likes of Southport and Bootle.
According to the government website, Formby South West is top of the list with a covid rate of 1,849.8 per 100,000 people.

Despite the number of cases in the area being 102, fewer than Southport Kew, 119, Hightown & Thornton, 122, and Maghull North West & Lydiate, 114, the rate of infection in the area is higher than the rest of the area.
Not far behind Formby South West is Maghull North West & Lydiate with a case rate of 1,702 per 100,000, with an equally high number of cases, 114.
Formby South West is not just the highest case rate in Sefton, it is also the highest case rate in Merseyside.
The lowest in Sefton for case rates per 100,000 people is Southport Waterfront with just 681.5 per 100,000 people, the area also has just 62 cases despite a sharp rise of 87.9% (an increase of 29 cases) from the seven days before.
Despite the low number of cases, the jump in seven days shows that cases almost doubled, with Formby West & Freshfield North seeing an exponential increase of 230% in seven days taking them to just shy of 100 cases with 99.
This data comes as England is set to celebrate New Year's Eve with minimal restrictions, despite Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland tightening Covid-19 restrictions.
