Quick Facts About Adva Lavie: 5 Things To Know About Her Mia Ventura Alias And Case

A Los Angeles social media influencer is facing serious legal jeopardy after allegedly running an extensive burglary scheme behind a glamorous online persona. Adva Lavie, a 28-year-old model who used the digital alias Mia Ventura, is charged with six felonies after prosecutors say she exploited dating applications to identify and target victims.

Prosecutors say the suspect found clever ways to sneak into the homes of people she met online from 2023 to 2025. The investigation highlights growing concerns about digital deception and the dangers of inviting virtual acquaintances into private spaces.

Five Key Details About The Case

Firstly, Lavie is accused of specifically targeting wealthy circles in Southern California. She reportedly set her sights on older men and younger women living in upscale neighbourhoods like Westlake Village, West Hollywood, Los Angeles and Beverly Hills.

Secondly, her alleged method involved building false intimacy to bypass residential security. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office stated on Tuesday: 'She is accused of posing as a girlfriend and travel companion to gain access to victims' homes and then stealing cash, gold and high-end designer items.'

Thirdly, she allegedly struck at a media event hosted by a popular personality. Michael Sartain, host of the podcast Access Vegas, reported to KTLA's Mary Beth McDade that Lavie stole cash and credit cards from female panellists during a special election night broadcast.

Fourthly, law enforcement issued a public warning in an effort to identify additional victims. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department released a bulletin featuring her photograph, noting she is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 104 pounds.

Finally, she faces a substantial period behind bars if convicted. The influencer could be sentenced to a maximum of 11 years and eight months in state prison.

Why The 28-Year-Old Suspect Is Free On A GPS Ankle Monitor

Despite the severe allegations, Lavie is not currently being held in police custody. Officials have sought to minimise the risk of her fleeing before trial by outfitting her with an ankle monitor.

The judge also issued strict orders requiring her to stay away from anyone she allegedly targeted. This standard legal procedure is intended to protect those individuals while allowing the defendant to prepare for court.

She has already entered a formal plea of not guilty to all six felony charges. The judicial process will continue as scheduled.

The Felony Counts The Influencer Is Now Facing

On Monday, the model was officially brought to answer for serious offences compiled by prosecutors. The indictment includes two charges of unauthorised use of personal identifying information and two charges of grand theft.

Furthermore, she faces one charge of first-degree residential burglary with a person present and one charge of first-degree residential burglary. These specific charges indicate she is accused of entering private homes with a clear plan to commit a crime.

The suspect is scheduled to be arraigned on 6 April at the Van Nuys Courthouse to address these accusations. Legal experts expect the upcoming proceedings to draw a significant amount of public attention.

How Dating Apps Are Leading to Luxury Home Thefts

The charges against Lavie highlight a growing trend of criminals using everyday social apps to scope out wealthy victims. Gaining someone's trust online can give thieves an alarmingly simple way to bypass the heavy security systems that normally protect high-end homes.

People often welcome these suspects right through their front doors, completely unaware of their true motives.

While exact figures for this specific case have not yet been released, similar high-end burglaries frequently result in stolen valuables worth over £79,000 ($100,000).

Law enforcement agencies continually urge the public to exercise caution when arranging private meetings. Officials recommend verifying the true identities of digital companions before allowing them access to secure environments.
