Director Quentin Tarantino and his wife Daniella Pick have announced they are expecting a baby.
Tarantino, whose most recent film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was released last month, met the Israeli model a decade ago.
In a statement released to People, a representative said they are thrilled to be starting a family.
“Daniella and Quentin Tarantino are very delighted to announce that they are expecting a baby,” the spokeswoman said.
The baby will be the first child for 56-year-old Tarantino, who also directed Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, and the 35-year-old Pick, who is the daughter of singer-songwriter Svika Pick.
Tarantino proposed to the Pick in June 2017 after a year of dating.
The pair married last November after the shooting for his latest film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt was finished.
At a recent news conference, Quentin opened up about married life, saying: ‘I can honestly say that my taking stock is different than it would have been three years ago, four years ago or even 10 years ago.
“I just got married six months ago … I’ve never done that before and now I know why. I was waiting for the perfect girl.”
