Queer Eye renewed for two more seasons on Netflix with fourth series coming in July

Netflix has renewed its acclaimed makeover show Queer Eye for a fourth and fifth season.

The fourth instalment will premiere on the streaming platform on 19 July, while season five is scheduled for 2020.

Production on the fifth season is scheduled to begin next week, according to Variety.

The Fab Five will return to Kansas City, Missouri, for season four, after conducting several makeovers there during season three.

They will then travel to Philadelphia for season five.

Queer Eye,  a remake of Bravo's Queer Eye For The Straight Guy (which ran between 2003 and 2007) debuted in 2018 and promptly became a global success.

It stars Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France, Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown and Antoni Porowski as they offer their expertise in grooming, fashion, interior design, culture, and cooking respectively.

Netflix confirmed the show's return from its See What's Next account, posting a photo of all five stars holding hands while crossing a street.

The Instagram account for Queer Eye also shared a short teaser video announcing season four.
