A man has been arrested following an assault on the Central line platform at Queensway Tube station.
Police, including firearms officers, rushed to the scene shortly after 1.10pm on Friday.
A man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after the incident on an eastbound Central line platform.
He is being treated by paramedics, police said.
A second man is also being treated by paramedics at the scene.
There was briefly no service on the Central line between Liverpool Street and White City and Queensway station was closed.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "An investigation to understand the circumstances leading to the men being injured is underway.
"Officers evacuated the station and it remains closed."
