Queensland's COVID-19 exposure sites list updated, Goondiwindi, Brisbane Airport on alert

The Queensland border town of Goondiwindi has been placed on alert with more COVID-19 exposure sites set to be announced.

It comes after three new locally acquired cases were detected on the border, two of them infectious in the community for days.

Two of the cases were unvaccinated while the third had one dose of the vaccine.

Brisbane's Domestic Airport was added to the list on Thursday after the Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk warned more sites would be added later in the day.

Some exposure sites relate to a truck driver who spent time in Goondiwindi on the weekend and later tested positive in New South Wales.

Queensland Health has deemed a number of venues in the town as "close" and "casual contact" sites, including the BP Truckstop on the Cunningham Highway, Coles on Herbert Street, and Kmart on Marshall Street.

As always, ensure you check the health advice in the table below (click "More" if you are on a mobile device) for what to do if you have visited any of the sites rated as close contact, casual contact or low-risk contact.

The Queensland Health contact tracing sites list is regularly updated as new information comes to hand.
