Queensland man charged with murder following suspicious death on the Gold Coast

Queensland police have charged a man with murder after the suspicious death of a 21-year-old man at Coomera on the Gold Coast

Police have alleged a fire was deliberately lit at a residence on Leichhardt St, Coomera, on February 9 about 11pm, which caused the man's death.

Now police have charged a 38-year-old Coomera man with one count of murder, arson and unlawful stalking.

The matter is due to be heard at a bedside hearing tomorrow.
