Queensland leaders back March 4 Justice

Shannon Fentiman says she's frustrated and saddened by the words and inaction of national leaders. (AAP)

Queensland Attorney-General Shannon Fentiman says she is "frustrated and saddened" by inaction from Australia's leaders as Brisbane prepares for the Women's March 4 Justice.

Many of the state's ministers will show their support for Monday's march that will make its way from King George Square in the city to outside Parliament House.

"Like so many of you, I am angry, frustrated and saddened by the words and inaction of our nation's leaders, more so than ever,' Ms Fentiman tweeted on Monday.

"Yet, I am in constant awe of the courage & bravery women continue to show in sharing their stories of violence committed against them."

Respect for women "starts at the top" Ms Fentiman said, and the March 4 Justice was an opportunity to say enough is enough.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the female members of cabinet would "absolutely" be showing their support.

"After cabinet will be going down to Parliament House to show our support for a large number of women, I think right across Australia, who support that more needs to be done to allow women's voices to be heard," she said on Monday.

Deputy Premier Steven Miles and Treasurer Cameron Dick are also expected to attend.

March 4 Justice is a nationwide protest calling for action on gender discrimination and violence against women.

"It is profound that in just two weeks more than 40 events have been planned around the nation, with tens of thousands Australians from all walks of life expected to come out and say enough is enough, the treatment of women in this country is unacceptable," ambassador Georgie Dent said.
