Good morning Queenslanders and Queensland watchers alike.

This morning we greet you from overcast Brisbane where the premier is beginning his day. Annastacia Palaszczuk is in Mackay and expected to make her way down the coast in an electorate blitz.

Premier Campbell Newman is due at a $250 a head fundraising lunch in Brisbane and then is expected to fly out to the regions.

We’ll hit the ground running with them.
