Queensland COVID-19 exposure sites list being updated, locations in Gold Coast and Warwick included

Officials said anyone on the Gold Coast with COVID-19 symptoms should get tested. (ABC Gold Coast: Dominic Cansdale )

Investigations are underway to identify Uber passengers and other close contacts of a Gold Coast man who tested positive to COVID-19.

The rideshare driver in his 50s from Carrara is now in hospital, has no links to known cases and was potentially infectious in the community for three days.

On Wednesday it was revealed a 32-year-old man from Pacific Pines on the Gold Coast had tested positive but it was also unclear how he acquired the virus.

A second local case of less concern, in a teenager from Beaudesert who was a known contact of the Moree cluster, was recorded and she had also been infectious in the community.

The community has been advised to monitor the list of exposure sites which is expected to be updated in light of the new cases.

Some of the newer venues include a JB Hi-Fi and coffee shop in Robina.

As always, ensure you check the health advice in the table below (click "More" if you are on a mobile device) for what to do if you have visited any of the sites rated as close contact, casual contact or low-risk contact.

The Queensland Health contact tracing sites list is regularly updated as new information comes to hand.
