Queensferry Crossing traffic to be affected by northbound M90 closures this week

Motorists who use the Queensferry Crossing will be affected by a series of road closures on the M90 this week.

Part of the route will be off limits to traffic between 9pm and 6am for five nights starting later today (Monday). Both lanes of the northbound route will be shut between the M9 junction 1a to the M90 junction one Scotstoun.

This is to allow teams from Amey to resurface the carriageway.

Diversions will be signposted for motorists who normally join the M90 at junction 1a. They'll be required to use junction two of the M9 and the A904 eastbound.

Both lanes of the M90 southbound will remain open throughout.

As reported on the Forth Bridges website: "These works have been planned overnight to minimise disruption, however motorists planning to use this route are advised to allow extra time for their journey."
