Queensferry Crossing and Edinburgh City Bypass crashes causing major rush hour misery

Accidents near the Queensferry Crossing and on the Edinburgh City Bypass are causing major problems during the Monday evening rush hour.

Commuters on two of the busiest routes in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife are being hit with major delays as they make their way home from work.

Traffic Scotland reported news of a smash on the M90 northbound before the Queensferry Crossing at around 5.35pm. Three lanes have been blocked with lengthy queues building in the area.

An accident was then reported less than ten minutes later on the A720 Edinburgh City Bypass eastbound at Dreghorn. Lane two is said to be affected with traffic queuing back to Hermiston Gait.
