Separate accidents on approach to the Queensferry Crossing and on the A1 in East Lothian have been causing long delays this afternoon.
A crash was reported on the M90 southbound at junction 1C (Admiralty) at around 12.45pm. One lane was closed while the accident was cleared, with significant queues building.
The road was fully re-opened at around 1pm but delays are still being experienced on the route.
Traffic Scotland have also been reporting news of a smash on the A1 southbound towards Gladsmuir.
The accident, between a car and a truck, happened shortly before 1pm with one lane blocked. Long tailbacks are also being experienced on this route.
