Buckingham Palace has announced the Queen has tested postive for coronavirus.

The monarch, 95, is said to be experiencing “mild cold-like symptoms” but expects to continue carrying out light duties this week.

She will follow all appropriate guidelines and medics will monitor her condition.

It comes just two weeks after Elizabeth II reached her historic Platinum Jubilee, celebrating 70 years as Queen on February 6.
