Queen's Park are set to finish their race for the League 2 title 40 miles from home in Falkirk.
The Spiders - five points clear of Stirling Albion at the top - have confirmed their last four home matches will take place at the Falkirk Stadium after a bid to use rivals Clyde’s Broadwood fell through.
The Glasgow side, who travel to face Brechin tomorrow, are currently homeless having played their final game at Hampden Park after 118 years against Stranraer last weekend.
It follows the £5m sale of the stadium to the SFA and Ray McKinnon’s men were due to set up home at the refurbished Lesser Hampden immediately next door to the national stadium.
But complications with the refurb have held the move up leaving Spiders scurrying around looking for a temporary home to finish the season.
Broadwood had looked the most likely venue but with Clyde and Cumbernauld Colts both using the stadium fears over a fixture clash forced Queen’s to look elsewhere.
Now McKinnon will return to his former club Falkirk as he looks to guide Queen’s over the finish line and into League 1.

President David Hunter said: “After making a final assessment, The Falkirk Stadium looks to offer a more flexible solution, one that is more adaptable to cope with any disruption to the fixture schedule which may arise.
“Should for any reason The Falkirk Stadium not be available to us, the club has secured agreement to utilise Ochilview Park, Stenhousemuir”.
The first of the four fixtures see Queen’s take on closest challengers Stirling at Falkirk next Saturday, April 3. Cowdenbeath will be the visitors on Tuesday, April 6 and Annan seven days later before the final league fixture of the season sees Elgin make the long trip south on Tuesday, April 20.
