Queen's Park striker Michael Ruth being scouted by Hibs

Hibs are reportedly tracking Queen’s Park teenager Michael Ruth.

The Easter Road club have had the 17-year-old striker three times since he broke through in to the Spiders’ first team in March, reports the Scottish Sun .

The Hibees latest scouting report on Ruth came after their final game of the season at home to Peterhead last week, when the Blue Toun won at the national stadium to clinch the League Two title.

Ruth has played for the Hampden club since he was nine, and represented Scotland and Under 16 level against England and Denmark respectively.

He also turned out for Rangers in a youth tournament in Germany last season.

Goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw is on his way out of the club after spending the second half of the season on loan at Dundee Utd, as is apparently interesting Accrington Stanley.
