Queen’s Park Arena invite Glaswegians to take over the stage this summer

Glaswegians are invited to show off their talents on stage at Queen's Park Arena.

Queen’s Park Arena and Inhouse CIC are giving you a chance to flex your creative skills in front of an audience this summer.

They're hosting a month of daily Open Stage slots between June and July 11 with budding and practicing performers at the venue.

The stage will be ready to go for a simple, family friendly, performance - either acoustic or two inputs with PA.

Chet Capkiner, director of social enterprise Inhouse Events says: “We can’t wait to see what talents people have learned over lockdown. It’s going to be a real celebration of the impact of live performance for both audiences and artists.

"From practicing in the house to performing in front of a real life audience is a huge leap, but what better way to shake off this difficult past year by being bold and just going for it."

So whether you dusted off that ukulele or started channelling your thoughts into poetry, you can step up to the plate and show it off in front of a crowd.

Performances will be free for the public, who can offer a donation, 75% will go to the performer, 25% as a contribution to site overheads.

The site has gone through a thorough Covid Risk Assessment and will be operated with social distancing measures.
