Queen's never-before-seen photo with great-grandchildren spotted by eagle-eyed royal fans

A never-before-seen photograph of the Queen and her great-grandchildren with the late Prince Philip has been spotted by eagle-eyed royal fans.

The adorable image of the royals was clocked by experts who claim the new frame is a recent edition to the palace.

It was spied when the Monarch was presenting the Queen’s Medal for Music to concert organist Thomas Trotter during an audience at Windsor Castle on Wednesday morning.

The cute framed snap could be seen on a side table resting alongside her trusty black handbag.

If zoomed in the picture appears to show the Queen and Philip sitting on a sofa with the Queen holding a young Princess Charlotte on her knee.

It seems as though Prince George is standing behind them with Isla Phillips - daughter of Peter Phillips - to the side of Her Majesty.

Mia Tindall - the daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall - appears to sit in between her great-grandparents with Savannah Phillips - Peter’s other daughter - seemingly standing proudly beside Philip.

It's thought the unseen Royal picture was snapped during 2018 (PA)

It’s thought the picture must have been taken before 2018 as some of the younger great-grandchildren don’t feature, according to Mirror Online.

Meanwhile, another lovely snap also framed on the table shows the Queen and Philip with their great-grandchildren at Balmoral in 2018.

It was taken by the Duchess of Cambridge and released by the Royal Family following the death of the Duke of Edinburgh in April. This picture does feature Prince Louis as well as Lena Tindall.

Since those photos were taken, the Queen has welcomed another five great-grandchildren.

They are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children Archie and Lilibet, Princess Eugenie’s son August, Zara Tindall’s third child Lucas and Princess Beatrice’s daughter Sienna.

The Queen is believed to be spending the next week or so at Windsor Castle before travelling to Sandringham for her traditional family Christmas.

She is said to be looking forward to the get-together, where many of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be present.
