Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands will attend the royal cremation ceremony for the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej on Oct 26.
She will represent the Kingdom of the Netherlands, according to an announcement by the Netherlands Government Information Service.
The other royal guests that have confirmed their attendance include the King of Bhutan Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and his wife Queen Jetsun Pema, as well as Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko of Japan.
The Belgian Royal Palace announced last week that Her Majesty Queen Mathilde would represent her husband, His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium, at the cremation ceremony for Thailand's late King.
