Queen Margaret Drive reopened after police respond to 'concern for a person'

A main road in Glasgow's west end has reopened after police responded to a 'concern for a person' report.

Drivers were asked to avoid Queen Margaret Drive and follow a traffic diversion. The incident has now been resolved and Queen Margaret Drive has currently reopened to traffic.

Police remain at the scene.

Pictures from the scene show a heavy police presence in the area.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers are currently in attendance in Queen Margaret Drive, Glasgow after reports of a concern for a person. The road is currently closed."
