Her Majesty Queen Sirikit has fully recovered from influenza and is well enough to return to Chitralada Palace from Chulalongkorn Hospital, according to the third update released by the Royal Household Bureau yesterday.
The doctors said the flu has completely subsided and Her Majesty's health has returned to normal. The Queen no longer has a fever and her cough has eased. Her Majesty also has a healthy appetite and can sleep well.
An X-ray of Her Majesty's lungs proved satisfactory and a blood test showed her condition was normal, according to the bureau update.
The Queen's condition has steadily improved since her admission on Aug 19.
