Proud Margaret Seaman knitted a replica of Sandringham that had the Queen in stitches when she saw it in the real royal residence.
Margaret, 92, spent two years modelling the Queen’s Norfolk home, using £700 of wool.
And Margaret says Her Majesty was “impressed” when she saw it on a visit to Sandringham, where it will be on display in the ballroom until October.
Margaret, whose knitted installations have raised £50,000 for charity, said: “That was absolutely wonderful, she seemed to enjoy it very much.”

Margaret often spent 15 hours a day crafting the 18ft-long Sandringham House in fine detail, along with other landmarks, such as St Mary Magdalene Church, where the Royal Family traditionally attend the Christmas Day service.
The Queen and her late husband Prince Philip feature, waving from a balcony, and Prince William and his family are there in the grounds, among the knitted lakes and ornamental trees.

Margaret, a widow, from Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, said: “I started it two years ago and although we were in lockdown I was never bored.
“I was quite happy at home knitting Sandringham. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
"I live with my daughter and I knit all day. She does everything else and looks after me.
"I knit between 12 and 15 hours a day.”
Margaret is using her work to raise money for three Norfolk NHS hospitals, raising £3,500 on her justgiving page so far.
She said: “It’s all about raising money for good causes.
"I hope to raise many more thousands for Norfolk’s NHS while I’m at Sandringham.”
