A new documentary has revealed that a cash machine has been installed at Buckingham Palace - even though the Queen famously never carries cash.
The machine is operated by Coutts, an upmarket bank which provides services to the mega-rich.
Channel 5 series Secrets of the Royal Palaces, which will screen this month, lifts the lid on life inside royal homes.
It is not known if the Queen has ever used the cashpoint, although it seems unlikely.
The first episode focuses on Buckingham Palace.
Former press officer to the Queen Dickie Arbiter said there is a swimming pool which staff are allowed to use.
And the palace also boasts a Post Office for workers, as well as a doctor's surgery where "emergency operations" can be performed if needed.
Buckingham Palace has 775 rooms, of which 52 are bedrooms.
Future episodes of the series - which begins on September 25 - focus on Windsor Castle, Balmoral and Clarence House.
The series will also feature footage of Prince William being "admonished" by the Queen for bending over to talk to his oldest son as they waited for a fly-past.
The Daily Star reports the monarch was not amused.
