Queen Elizabeth is hiring a social media manager

If you've ever dreamed of spending time with Queen Elizabeth's dorgis, it's your time to shine. The monarch is hiring a social media manager.

It sounds like an ideal gig for someone who loves both the Royal Family and Instagram. According to a job posting on LinkedIn, the salary will be up to £50,000 a year (around $67,000), and the person who gets the job will receive a free lunch.

If you do take up this iconic gig, just make sure to log out before you post on your personal page - that way, you won't be posting thirst traps for Queen Elizabeth accidentally - that's more her great-grandnephew Arthur Chatto's thing.

At 93, Queen Elizabeth is looking for a head of digital engagement. She posted for the first time in March of 2019 and had a rush of followers (although it wasn't quite a Jennifer Aniston 20 million moment). The verified @royalfamily Instagram account has 6.9 million followers currently.

Applications are open on LinkedIn until December 24, so get cracking with your application.

The post reads, "It's knowing your content will be viewed by millions. It's about never standing still and finding new ways to maintain The Queen's presence in the public eye and on the world stage," adding, "This is what makes working for the Royal Household exceptional."

Perhaps she'll start a TikTok account after the holidays.
