Queen Elizabeth II's smallest fan has received a special message from the monarch herself.
Jalayne Sutherland, from the US state of Ohio, dressed up as the Queen for Halloween, complete with the family's two corgis.
The toddler's outfit was a big hit with trick-or-treaters, as well as on Facebook, where her mother shared photos of the day.
"Thanks everyone! If anyone figures out a way to send the picture to the Queen let me know and I'll do it," her mother Katelyn Sutherland wrote.
"The pups were proud to sit next to their Queen."
Mrs Sutherland did find a way to send a photo of her daughter to the Queen, who found it "splendid" and asked for her lady-in-waiting, Mary Morrison, to send a send a letter to the family.
"The Queen wishes me to write and thank you for your letter, and for the photography you thoughtfully enclosed," the message said.
"Her Majesty hopes you all have a very Merry Christmas, and I am enclosing a little information about the Royal Pets, which Jalayne might like to have."
Last year the Queen wrote to a seven-year-old boy in Essex, England who made her a happiness-themed word puzzle to cheer her up during lockdown.
