The nation is in mourning following the announcement that Queen Elizabeth has died aged 96.
Plans are underway for Her Majesty's funeral as the British public pay tribute to the long-standing monarch. The funeral will take place in 10 days time and be held at Westminster Abbey.
There will be a two minute silence observed at 12pm on the day of the funeral, before processions will be held in London and Windsor. A committal service will take place at St George’s Chapel - and The Queen will be buried at the King George VI Memorial Chapel in Windsor.

She will be joined in her final resting place by her husband of 73 years, Prince Phillip. The Duke of Edinburgh died in 2020 and was privately interred in the Royal Vault of St George's Chapel.
He will now be transferred to the gothic church to lie alongside Queen Elizabeth II. The chapel is also the resting place of the Queen's father George VI, the Queen Mother and sister Princess Margaret.
