Queen and Adam Lambert announce Manchester Arena show on UK tour - how to get tickets

Queen and Adam Lambert have announced a Manchester date on their UK and European tour.

They'll headline Manchester Arena on June 11 as part of The Rhapsody Tour.

They debuted the new show in the US this summer playing 25 shows to almost 400,000 fans.

These upcoming dates mark their first in the UK since the release of the group's biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.

Released a year ago it became the highest-grossing biopic of all time, earning more than 900 million dollars at the box office worldwide.

The star of the film Rami Malek won an Oscar for his portrayal of frontman Freddie Mercury as well as a BAFTA and Golden Globe.

Their upcoming tour will see them perform their greatest hits including 'We Will Rock You', 'We Are the Champions', 'Don't Stop Me Now' and 'I Want to Break Free' to name a few.

Meanwhile a documentary entitled 'The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story', which follows Lambert's beginnings to his rise on American Idol and eventually performing as the frontman of Queen, debuts on October 11 on Sky Arts.

Their only other UK dates take place at London's O2 Arena with five shows lined up, as well as stops in Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin and Copenhagen.

They go on general sale at 9am on Wednesday, September 25 via ticketmaster.co.uk.
