Two men have rammed a Queanbeyan store and stolen an ATM, in a stolen car later found burnt on the side of the road, police say.
Police say two men rammed the front of a takeaway store on Uriarra Road and took an ATM before fleeing the scene in a stolen Lexus SUV, just about 1.40am on Monday night.
ACT Policing found the ATM and car burnt out on Peter Cullen Way, Wright, later that morning.
A crime scene has been established and will undergo forensic examination.
Monaro Police District is investigating the incident.
Anyone with information, or who may have witnessed any suspicious activity at the time of the incident, is urged to come forward.
