Quarterback LeBron dishes beautiful assists in dominant first half

LeBron James was dominant in all facets of the game and the Los Angeles Lakers played what may have been their best first half of basketball all season during Sunday night’s matchup against the San Antonio Spurs.

James had the full passing repertoire on display on his way to a near triple-double by half time of 11 points, seven assists and seven rebounds. The first of LeBron’s incredible assists came early on, with a special two-handed bounce pass to JaVale McGee that had plenty of english on it to perfectly get to McGee. They were McGee’s only two points of the half.

James then showed off his deep ball, throwing a 3/4 pass to Avery Bradley for a lay-up that turned into an and-1.

James, of course, also had some great finishes.

The Lakers took a 56-43 lead into half time as they once again played stellar defense, as they have throughout the first five games of the season and each of their wins on their current four-game win streak. LeBron got plenty of help like Anthony Davis’ 15 points, 10 points from Avery Bradley and another strong shift off the bench from Dwight Howard.
