Quarantine Celtics, Day 16: Zoom, Obama, and Tacko Fall’s framed anime

As the coronavirus shutdown continues to suspend NBA activities, Boston Celtics players remain in league-mandated quarantine, turning to social media, online gaming and other forms of telepresence to stay connected.

16 days after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert’s COVID-19 positive test results forced the shuttering of live NBA games, many of Boston’s players find community re-watching old games, using downtime to catch up, or playing online games together.

Some Celtics are using it to advocate for others impacted by the pandemic.

Forward Grant Williams’ alma mater, for example, joins Boston in re-airing old games to fill the basketball void caused by the coronavirus shutdown, which of course Williams took note of.
