Quality Street fans can choose own chocolate with new personalised tins online

The colourful sweets are a staple in every household at Christmas.

Quality Street fans can now start planning for the festive season with new personalised tins of the much-loved treats.

Sweet fans can choose their favourite selection of chocolate and get their name on the lid in the newly launched online service.

Shoppers were previously only able to get personalised boxes at pop-ups in John Lewis, which was usually met with long queues from eager shoppers.

But Nestlé, the Swiss chocolate company that makes Quality Street, has come to the rescue and made it available to everyone online.

The shop is due to open today and will offer the service for 12 months a year, meaning fans can get personalised boxes for any occasion.

The fancy tins will cost £15.99 plus a delivery charge of £2.99.

If you're desperate to get a 1kg tin of green triangles, this is the only way to get them.

Ellie Dent, from Quality Street said: “Quality Street is the number one seasonal brand, and we’re incredibly proud of that, but it’s also the perfect gift at any time.

“That’s why we are making it easier than ever to create and personalise your Quality Street experience.

“For instance, does your family vie for the Green Triangles and Caramel Swirls while Toffee Fingers are left in the tin?

“Now you can avoid debate this year and create a mix that everyone will love.”
