'Quality player - lucky Leeds United' Wolves fans rage as Helder Costa exit is announced

Leeds United have delighted supporters by announcing the signing of Helder Costa on a season-long loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The deal will become permanent next summer, with a fee approaching £15m agreed for the Portuguese winger.

The 25-year-old had been linked with a move to Elland Road for most of the summer and has become the Whites’ fifth signing of the week.

He joins Ben White, Jack Harrison, Jack Clarke and Liam McCarron through the door, having signed a four-year deal at the club from 2020.

Despite seeing Jack Clarke sign for Tottenham Hotspur this summer, Leeds supporters have been thrilled by their summer business so far.

Costa, in particular, adds Premier League pedigree to their already talented squad and won promotion with Wolves back in 2018.

Although the playmaker struggled to establish himself in the top flight, mainly due to a formation change, he is seen as one of the best talents the Championship has to offer.

As you can imagine, Whites fans are ecstatic with the signing.

Wolves fans, on the other hand, have taken to social media to say goodbye to a popular figure around Molineux.
