Qua Nilus II god rolls and how to get them in Destiny 2

The Edge of Fate introduced a batch of tiered armor and weapons to Destiny 2. Some of the weapons, including Qua Nilus II, may serve as an upgrade to your older picks due to the ability to get an enhanced barrel, mag, and even Origin Trait.

Qua Nilus II is a 900 RPM Adaptive Frame Strand submachine gun, and if you didn’t manage to snatch a copy of Mirror Imago from Heresy, it can serve as a decent alternative. It may not have the same damage perks, but the Strand synergy is on point.

Here are our Qua Nilus II PvE and PvP god rolls in Destiny 2.

What is the Qua Nilus II god roll in Destiny 2?

Qua Nilus II PvE god roll

  • Barrel: Corkscrew Rifling
  • Magazine: Tactical Mag
  • Perk one: Slice
  • Perk two: Hatchling or Dragongly
  • Masterwork: Stability

Qua Nilus II PvP god roll

  • Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling
  • Magazine: Accurized Rounds
  • Perk one: Dynamic Sway Reduction
  • Perk two: Swashbuckler
  • Masterwork: Range

Qua Nilus II has decent Strand synergy in PvE, with Slice available in the third column, and Hatchling in the fourth column. Slice allows the weapon to sever targets briefly after casting a class ability, and Hatchling creates Threadlings on precision final blows. If you’re not using Threadlings, you can also go for Dragonfly in the fourth column for alternative AoE damage.

For builds leaning heavily into melee abilities, there’s a combination of Proximity Power and Swashbuckler. Proximity Power is a new perk that boosts the Melee stat when you get kills while surrounded by enemies. Swashbuckler buffs the damage of the weapon itself on melee kills and kills with this weapon.

While SMGs are a solid choice for PvP (especially on Titans with Peacekeepers), the Qua Nilus II only has decent perks in the third column. You can choose between Encore for stacking range and accuracy on kills, Dynamic Sway Reduction for improved accuracy and stability, or Transcendent Moment for increased range and aim assist on final blows.

In the fourth column, there’s… nothing. Unless you want to run double primary to take advantage of Binary Orbit or Harmony, you’ll have to stick with the PvE-focused perks, like Dragonfly or Swashbuckler.

How to get Qua Nilus II in Destiny 2

Qua Nilus II is a random drop from Fireteam Ops in the Portal. Qua Nilus II may occasionally be a Bonus Focus weapon for a set activity. Achieving a Grade B or higher in that activity guarantees the reward, so use that to farm for the perfect roll.

Zavala may also offer Qua Nilus II as a part of his weekly Armory offerings. You can claim only one weapon from Zavala per week, and to get access to as many variants as possible, increase your weekly rank in the Seasonal Hub the week before.
