QTCinderella explains why she chooses kindness over cutting people off
Her explanation was pretty direct. She said she uses “kindness as a social lubricant to advocate for change” and does not simply sit around when someone close to her has different opinions.
She also connected that belief to Martin Luther King Jr., quoting his message that “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.” For QTCinderella, the idea is that personal relationships and kindness can sometimes help people reconsider what they believe.
She also made clear that she understands other people may handle these situations differently. Her point was that this is simply the way she has chosen to live and approach those disagreements.
