Queens Park Rangers have released six players following their relegation from the Premier League.
Brian Murphy, Richard Dunne, Rio Ferdinand, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Joey Barton and Bobby Zamora have all departed from Loftus Road in the aftermath of the club’s return to the Championship after just one season back in the top flight.
Clint Hill and Alejandro Faurlín, whose contracts expire at the end of next month, have been offered new deals, while Karl Henry has until 30 June to exercise his option for a further 12 months at the club.
