QPR hold talks with Darren Moore as search for next permanent manager goes on

QPR have held talks with former West Brom manager Darren Moore as they search for a successor to Steve McClaren.

Moore was sacked by West Brom last month despite the club being in the Championship play-off places and he has spoken to Rangers about the vacant job at Loftus Road.

QPR have also interviewed Carlos Carvalhal, Mark Warburton and Nigel Pearson. Marc Bircham and Michael Appleton are also under consideration.

Caretaker John Eustace is set to be in charge for Saturday's game against Nottingham Forest.

Rangers director of football Les Ferdinand said: “We are toying with the idea whether to bring someone in before the end of the season but it all depends on who blows us away."
