QPR handed triple injury boost ahead of Nottingham Forest clash as Sabri Lamouchi sweats over duo

QPR have been handed a huge injury boost ahead of their clash with Nottingham Forest on Saturday with three first-team stars set to return just in time for the Championship's opening round.

Yoann Barbet, Geoff Cameron and George Thomas could all be named by former Reds boss Mark Warburton for the clash at Loftus Road after missing last weekend's cup tie with Plymouth Argyle.

Thomas, formerly of Coventry City, joined from Leicester City this summer while US international Geoff Cameron and ex-Brentford star Barbet were regular last term for Rangers.

Sabri Lamouchi, meanwhile, will be hoping that Samba Sow and Tiago Silva can return for the weekend.

Neither featured at Oakwell as the Reds crashed out of the EFL cup but could return before Saturday.

Joe Lolley could also return after returning to training with the side ahead of the new season.
