QPR forward Paul Smyth attracting interest from 'number' of clubs

Northern Ireland forward Paul Smyth is attracting interest from "a number" of English League One sides during the transfer window.

Smyth has already had two loan spells since joining Championship club QPR back in 2017 from Linfield.

The 23-year-old spent the second half of the 2018/19 campaign wth Accrington Stanley, and last season he was with League One playoff winners Wycombe Wanderers.

He could now be set for a return to League One with a number of clubs in the division eyeing up a potential move.

Smyth - who has one year remaining on his QPR contract - has made three appearances this season but all from the bench.

West London Sport are reporting that a number of League One clubs have already made contact with QPR about a potential deal for the Northern Ireland international.
