Queen’s Park Rangers manager Mark Warburton has said that any players leaving the Hoops this summer will be on the club’s terms as West Ham have been linked with a double swoop for two of their stars.
Hammers manager David Moyes is keen to bring in star attacker Eberechi Eze and has also scouted left back Ryan Manning but Eze is high on the Hammers hitlist of players they would like to recruit this summer.
Crystal Palace and Leeds United are also reportedly in the running to sign Eze and with the transfer window now open, Moyes is planning a big overhaul of his squad despite there being limited funds to do so.
After the Hoops’ final game of the season last week, Warburton told West London Sport: “Whatever happens happens. But if any player leaves QPR – and this is the key point – they leave on QPR’s terms. That’s what people have to realise.
“Every player in the world has got a price, whoever they are. If that valuation is met then everyone should win.
“I hope very much that everyone returns in 20 days’ time. But if we lose one or two it’s on QPR’s terms, that’s for sure.”
Moyes wants to rejuvenate his squad but he will have to sell some players to maximise the budget that he thinks will be enough to recruit and strengthen in the areas required.
The likes of Felipe Anderson, Jack Wilshere, Andriy Yarmolenko and Manuel Lanzini face uncertain futures, as do Jack Wilshere and Fabian Balbuena. The Hammers will also entertain offers for Sebastien Haller if they match the club’s valuation of the striker.
West Ham are close to sealing their first exit of the summer as Albian Ajeti is set to move to Celtic on loan for the season with a £5million permanent option at the end, meaning the Hammers will take a £3million hit on the Swiss frontman who played just ten minutes of Premier League action under Moyes since the manager arrived in December.
The Hammers have been linked with the QPR duo as well as a host of players from the Championship, including Brerntford pair Said Benrahma and Ollie Watkins aswell as Wigan's Antonee Robinson and Cedric Kipre.
