Qld public servants face corruption probe

Queensland Fire and Emergency Service staff have been stood down amid a corruption investigation. (AAP)

Six Queensland Fire and Emergency Services employees have been referred to the state's corruption watchdog accused of dodgy procurement practices.

The workers have been stood down with pay for allegedly "failing to adhere to proper government procurement practices".

The QFES said it could not provide more details because the Crime and Corruption Commission was now involved.
