Golf coach Sean Lynch will stand trial accused of indecently treating a teenage girl. (AAP)

A Queensland golf coach who worked with elite players will stand trial accused of indecently treating a teenage girl.

Peak performance coach Sean Patrick Lynch declined to enter a plea in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday as he was committed to stand trial.

Lynch was the mind coach for a golf reality show called The Cut which saw the emergence of Queensland-born golf pro Jason Day, and top players Greg Chalmers and Jarrod Lyle.

The 65-year-old from Banyo is charged with one count of indecent treatment of a child under 16, with the aggravating circumstance of showing the girl a film, and five further counts of indecent treatment of a child under 16.

The offences were allegedly committed between January 1 and December 19, in 2019 at three locations around Brisbane and the Gold Coast including a golf club, according to court documents.

An application by Lynch's legal team to be able to cross-examine two witnesses before trial was refused by magistrate Bradford Morgan.

Lynch was bailed to appear in the Brisbane District Court at a date to be set.
