QB Russell Wilson leads NFL in touchdown to interception ratio

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has posted 12 touchdowns and no interceptions through five games while guiding his team to a 4-1 start. His passer rating of 126.3 leads the league and he’s made a large number of dazzling plays along the way.

Wilson is off to the best start of his career and is a leading candidate for NFL MVP at this point in the season. He heads the NFL with his 12-0 touchdown to interception ratio and is undoubtedly playing his best football right now.

The Seahawks have largely relied on his heroics throughout most of their wins so far. Despite the level of talent throughout the skill positions, Wilson has made the players around him better and has repeatedly delivered with the game on the line. A big part of that has been putting points on the board while avoiding turnovers. Make no mistake, this team would not be 4-1 without Wilson and his solid execution.

The Seahawks are in second place in the NFC West behind the 4-0 San Francisco 49ers, who have already had their bye week. Seattle will need Wilson to continue his stellar production going forward. Seattle travels to Cleveland this week to face the Browns (2-3) on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 10:00 a.m. PT.
