QB Lamar Jackson apologizes for Instagram video showing him driving 105 mph

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson issued an apology via Twitter on Wednesday after posting a video to his Instagram story the day prior that showed him driving 105 mph.

TMZ Sports reported on Wednesday that Jackson also appeared to be driving without a seat belt on, as the video showed a seat belt indicator warning light active on the dashboard.

The TMZ Sports report states that Jackson deleted the video sometime after posting it on Tuesday.

In a statement issued by the team, the Ravens said: “We are aware of the report and have addressed it.”

Jackson’s blunder constitutes the second off-field incident a Baltimore player has had this offseason. On March 1, the team released running back Alex Collins after he was arrested and formally charged with possession with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana in excess of 10 grams and possession of a handgun in a vehicle following an early-morning car crash near the Ravens’ practice facility.
