QB Kyle Allen goes down with nasty looking ankle injury; Alex Smith in at QB

Washington quarterback Kyle Allen was sacked in the first quarter and had his leg hit awkwardly, coming down with what looking like a brutal leg injury.

After the play, the cart immediately came out for Allen, who was laying on the ground in some apparent pain. Alex Smith, who also has suffered a devastating leg injury himself, started warming up on the sideline and will come into the game.

Allen was sacked on the play after attempting to scramble and seemingly running right into the tacke that whipped his leg. His leg appeared to turn sideways during the fall, and an aircast was placed on it as he had to be lifted onto the cart.

Alex Smith will be the QB from here.
