The qualification process for the 2022 World Cup is almost complete with 29 of 32 teams confirmed for the Qatar tournament which kicks off in November. However, a number of big names have missed out including Euro 2020 winners Italy.
England have already secured their place for the draw which takes place on Friday, but the final line-up of nations taking part in the tournament won’t be known until June. Ukraine and Scotland will meet with the winner facing Wales for a place at the World Cup and there are also two inter-confederation play-offs yet to be played.
