Qatar is reportedly in talks to invest in Leeds United.
The Finanical Times report that the Gulf state are looking to enter English football for the firs time and are in negotiations with the Elland Road hierarchy.
It is claimed that the Gas-rich country are looking to purchase as much as a controlling stake in the Yorkshire club, in news that will send shockwaves around the rest of the Championship.
Qatar already own PSG and have invested heavily in the French club, signing global superstars like Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Gianluigi Buffon.
It now appears they are looking to enter English football - although the report in the Financial Times quotes a source as saying that Leeds are talking with up to six potential investors.
Leeds are currently owned by Andrea Radrizzani and it is believed he is only willing to sell a minority stake in the football club.
Talks restarted after Leeds missed out on promotion and a guaranteed £170m when they lost to Derby County in the play-offs.
