Movie stars from Arab countries and around the world are gathering in Doha this week, as the sixth Ajyal Film Festival kicks off in the Qatari capital.
Made in Qatar is one of the film festival's highlights, featuring 16 short features all directed and written by, as well as starring, Qataris.
But the festival has also become more diverse with 81 films coming from 36 countries, including 24 movies from the Arab world and 44 directed by female filmmakers.
