Qatar food security: Doha becomes less reliant on imported goods

Friday marks three years since Saudi Arabia and its allies imposed an illegal blockade on Qatar.

Prior to the diplomatic standoff, 40 percent of the country's overall imports came from its neighbours.

Since then, Qatar has invested in production and technology, becoming one of the highest-ranked countries in food security in the region.
