PV Sindhu reveals Deepika Padukone plays badminton really well, says it’s in her genes

Ace badminton player PV Sindhu recently spent some quality time with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh and the trio bonded over dinner.

Speaking about the same in an interview with a magazine, Sindhu was reportedly all praise for Deepika. According to her, the actress is really sweet and very beautiful. She also revealed that Deepika plays badminton really well. Although she was surprised to see her play that well initially, Sindhu soon realised that it was obvious because it is in Deepika’s genes. Her father was a legend in the sport.

She also revealed that they all went for dinner later and they both were really very sweet to her.

Last week, Deepika shared the video of the duo's game and said, “Guess who won?” In the video, Deepika said, “She is practising for world championship and she thought I was the best partner to prepare her.” Sindhu added, “If she would’ve played badminton, she would’ve become the top player.” She had also shared pictures from the session with the caption, “Just a regular day in my life…Burning calories with @pvsindhu1.”

PV Sindhu was all over the news after she won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 earlier this year. She has reportedly become the first Indian woman to win two individual Olympic medals in a row.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika will next be seen in Kabir Khan’s ‘’83’ which she has also co-produced. She also has Shakun Batra’s untitled next co-starring Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi in lead roles.

Apart from these, she is also a part of two upcoming projects of Siddharth Anand which includes ‘Pathan’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham and ‘Fighter’ co-starring Hrithik Roshan.

She will also be reuniting with her ‘Piku’ co-star Amitabh Bachchan in Nag Ashwin’s next with Prabhas and ‘The Intern’.
